Proclamations: Anchorage Community Concert Band

The Anchorage Community Concert Band, conducted by Dr. Mark Wolbers, presents a free concert, Proclamations, on Sunday, April 12 at 4:00 pm in Discovery Theatre.

This all-ages performance features music by Aaron Copland and Morton Gould, along with a James Bond medley. It’s a strong program with something familiar and engaging for all audiences.

Founded in 1981, the Anchorage Community Concert Band has entertained the Anchorage community for over 40 years. The ensemble includes more than 70 musicians who rehearse weekly and perform several concerts each year. Membership is open to community members, with no audition required.

Admission is free. Seating is limited, so plan to arrive early.
