Ticket Exchanges

Exchange Eligibility

CenterTix can change your seats for an event, or often your performance for events that have multiple performances. To confirm if your tickets are eligible for exchange, call CenterTix at (907) 263-ARTS, submit our ticket exchange request form, or visit our Ticket Office in the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.

Exchange Costs

• All exchanges are charged a per ticket exchange fee. The standard fee is $5 per ticket.

• If the new tickets cost more, you will also pay the difference in price.

• If the new tickets cost less, the difference issued as a CenterTix credit. For select events, the difference is given to the event organizer instead.

Processing

• Exchanges are processed during CenterTix office hours.

• CenterTix will send a confirmation to your inbox when the exchange is complete.

• If the exchange requires additional payment, CenterTix will evaluate the exchange and contact you with the total cost. Payment will be taken at that time.

Restrictions

• CenterTix must receive the exchange information at least 48 hours before the start time of the performance you no longer want to attend.

• To change show dates or times, the new show must have the same title as the original show.

• Complimentary tickets cannot be exchanged to different performances.

• Tickets for past shows cannot be exchanged.

• All exchanges are subject to seat availability.

• Other restrictions may apply.

How It Works

Simply complete our ticket exchange form. Be sure to have your tickets or your order details with you to proceed. After you submit this form, CenterTix will will process the exchange during regular hours and send confirmation when it is complete. If the exchange requires additional payment, CenterTix will contact you with a total cost for the exchange and take payment at that time. This activity generally happens noon to 5pm, Wednesday-Saturday.

Once the exchange is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with details for your new tickets. Please review this revised order confirmation for accuracy.
