Anchorage Classical Ballet Academy

Anchorage Ballet (ACBA) was founded in 1997 to preserve the art of classical dance while educating aspiring professionals while providing a venue for all interested in experiencing the joy of the art of dance in Anchorage and beyond.

Anchorage Classical Ballet Academy has prepared a multitude of young professionals to dance in the top dance centers of the world and has established an international reputation of excellence.

In addition to its collaborative efforts within the state of Alaska, and widely varied repertoire, Anchorage Ballet has toured to Canada, and hosted guest instructors and performers from North America and abroad. It has participated in International exchanges as part of the International Exchange Program.

In 2010, the Ballet was the recipient of the Anchorage Mayor's Arts Award for Outstanding Arts Organization.
