Alaska Sound Celebration proudly presents the 34th annual Fur Rondy Melodrama, Port Golden: Home of the Glittering Gold Rugged Nugget, February 21 – March 8 at the 49th State Brewing Company – Heritage Theatre.

This year’s Melodrama takes place in the shadow of Alaska’s fading gold rush, as a scheming villain targets a small town inn and its prized gold nugget. As chaos ensues, the town’s noble hero rallies against evil with our heroine and a spirited cast. Good must triumph over greed in this uproarious clash of Southern charm, rugged grit and theatrical mischief.
