Mandala of Song

The UAA Department of Music presents a Song Recital featuring faculty members Mari Hahn and Timothy Smith, and guest violist Mari Jamieson. Entitled "Mandala of Song", the program explores themes such as childhood, love, war and interconnection. Art songs and opera arias in English, German, French, Czech and Japanese will be performed. Hahn and Smith are established performers in the Anchorage community, and collaborate for the first time in over 20 years.
