Mozart in the Museum
-
Anchorage Museum Auditorium
Event Info
Immersive. Imaginative. Opera like you’ve never seen it.
Two rival socialites duke it out to see who can throw the better gala at the Anchorage Museum. Throw in a pair of conniving caterers, a catty ladder-climber, and a glittering lineup of guests (YOU!) and, well… you have one heck of a party! You are cordially invited to an immersive theatre experience where you get to follow the action from gallery to gallery- and maybe even interact with the stars.
Funny. Fabulous. Opera.
In English with English Supertitles
Approximately 90 minutes with no intermission. Guests will have assigned seats but will change locations within the museum throughout the performance.
Museum Entrance
All Mozart in the Museum attendees must use the 7th Avenue entrance to the Anchorage Museum.
Pre-Show Activities
The pre-show, Miniature Mozart, featuring participants from the Alaska Artist Development Program, will begin one hour before curtain in the Art of the North Galleries (second floor).
Alternatively, a pre-show podcast can be accessed through the museum’s headsets (available in the 7th Avenue lobby).
